2 minors dealt prison sentence for selling classmates’ virginity

In a sad and appalling turn of events, two adolescent girls were convicted in Jembrana, Bali for selling their classmates’ virginity to unscrupulous civil servants, according to Berita Bali. 

The penalty was handed down by the State Council of Court Judges this Monday. The sentence is eight months in prison and ten months of community service for violating Law no. 21 of 2007 Article 2 paragraph 1 of trafficking, stated Judge Purnama in his verdict. 

Despite hysterical sobbing on behalf of the two adolescent defendants and their parents in the court, the sentence was accepted by the alleged guilty parties.
