Bali remembers on anniversary of 2005 bombing

Nine years later, on the anniversary of the second Bali bombing, groups of people solemnly gathered around the Ground Zero monument in Legian to remember the lives lost in 2005, reported the Tribun Bali.

Both Jimbaran Beach Resort and Kuta were hit by the terrorist attacks that took the lives of 20 people and injured hundreds in 2005. 

Expect more public discourse and remembrance events next year, the ten-year anniversary.
