The Australian woman who went into labor while flying to Brisbane lost her baby, despite the flight’s emergency diversion to Bali, according to the Malaysian Insider

“We estimate the baby was born 1-1.5 hours before we received her,” said Diah Ratna Dewi, head of Kasih Ibu hospital, where the woman was taken. The 178-passenger flight, Malaysian Airlines MH135 from KL to Brisbane, was diverted to Denpasar on Friday when the woman went into premature labor. After stopping in Bali, MH135 continued on to Australia two hours later.
