This is Bali: epic traffic jam caused by fallen tree

Sometimes we’re confused if we’re in Bali or Jakarta with all the traffic pile ups on the island. Too small of roads and too many big vehicles make for slow moving, thank you Bali land developers, but this time a 1 kilometer bottleneck was caused by none other than a falling tree. 

Only in Bali, right? The tree went down in Jembrana on Jl. Umum Denpasar-Gilimanuk at km 556 yesterday evening. The locals were yelling timber as the truck knocked into it after hitting a passing vehicle. Fortunately no people were reported injured. 

It was a big tree, it took an hour to clean it up and get traffic flowing again.
