A female Japanese tourist was found dead in Ubud last Wednesday night, according to an article posted by Bali Discovery

The body of the woman, Toshiyasu, 53, was discovered in her room at Kerti Bungalow when she did not meet up with her friends as scheduled.

Preliminary investigations done by police suggest that Toshiyasu could have been inebriated and taken a fall due to nausea, which may have resulted in a fatal head injury. Police have requested permission to run an autopsy on the woman from her family to get a better grasp on the cause of her death, but their initial investigations suggest no foul play.

Toshiyasu has been in Bali since July 21, 2014 on an extended holiday.
